Tonight proved something powerful — we can win here in South Carolina.
Every single local candidate I endorsed won their race. Together, we:
✅ Flipped 6 Republican seats
✅ Protected 4 Democratic incumbents
✅ Flipped the City of Georgetown back under Democratic control
And in addition to all of this, they made history in Aiken, where voters elected the first Black city councilmember to ever represent a majority-white district. Congratulations to Braylen Waldo on his historic win!
These victories were gained from every region of our state. And big donors or political insiders didn’t fuel them; they were powered by you, by grassroots organizing, and by faith in what’s possible when people come together for change.
Every candidate we supported was outspent by their Republican opponent. But we didn’t back down. We knocked on doors, made calls, and reminded our neighbors that hope is stronger than fear, and people power beats dark money every time.
This is the movement we’re building. This is the foundation for 2026.
